See Joe at Page After Page bookstore at 111 South Main Street in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, on July 31, from 11AM to 3PM. It is expected to draw many former listeners to the store.
It's the 12th annual Phelps Brothers Music Festival. Sunday from 1 to 6PM, June 13 at Lakeside Park on Bainbridge Blvd and Holley Street, in the South Norfolk section of Chesapeake Va. It's a tribute to the late Phelps Brothers, stars of stage, screen, radio, television and recordings. There will be food available and music by local bands. Joe Hoppel will be the special guest and will have his new book, "People I've Met, Things I've Done: 50 Years in Country Music Radio" for the introductory price of $19.95. He'll gladly autograph all books purchased on site. The rain date for the festival is June 20 at the same location.
After several years in development, on top of Joe's 50+ years on-the-air, we're proud to announce the birth of "People I've Met, Things I've Done." It went live on Amazon today. Joe also has a big order of books on the way to sell at local events and mail order for his fans that aren't comfortable (or aren't technically inclined–like Joe, himself) ordering on the Internet. Find out all about his book here and get yourself a copy. And tell a friend!
